I'm pretty sure McDonald's Canada uses a small Red Maple leaf on the bottom of the middle arch, as it does on the arches on the signs.
Also, I think the Red on the Canadian version of the flag is a little
darker, what I would call "Ketchup Red" and the American one I would
say is just plain "Red".
