I have just received from the Government of Cundinamarca a book that deals with on the shields and flags of this department. This book is called "Shields, Flags and Hymns of Cundinamarca", written by Rosalba Salazar Gallo for the Secretariat of Culture of Cundinamarca. Here is the flag of Nemocón.

"Emblema en franjas iguales de 50 centímetros de ancho, en tres colores que significa lo siguiente:
Color blanco: en la parte superior, simboliza la paz, la sal como riqueza y patrimonio.
Color verde: con él se honra la belleza natural de los ricos campos y montanas.
Color rojo: a la memoria de la sangre derramada por nuestros sacrificados patriotas en busca de paz y libertad."
