Shield Vert two keys Or in saltire, in chief a falcon's head Argent, base wavy quartered of Argent and Sable.
Meaning:
The municipality was established in 1978 by a merger of Münchaurach, Falkendorf, Neundorf and Unterreichenbach. The keys are reminding on the Benedictine Monastery of Münchaurach, which was founded by Bishop Otto of Bamberg (1102 - 1139) and secularised in 1528 by the Margraves of Brandenburg-Bayreuth. The quartered base is alluding to the margraves. The falcon's head is a canting element and representing Falkendorf. The wavy line of partition is representing the name giving Aurach River. The green colour is stressing the rural character.
