Shield Gules, on base Vert a boar statant Or armed Argent.
Meaning:
Ebersbach probably became a market town in the 14th century and a mail station in 1500. The first seal with prints from 1498 had been a court seal due to its inscription. Three later seals up to the 19th century had the inscription "Markt" (market) or "Amt" (subcounty). All of them displayed the canting boar (German: Eber), which appeared also on a keystone of the local church (1500) and a coloured painting (1535). The colours of the current arms are based on that painting, but the charges are based on the oldest seal.

The arms were adopted in 1937. A banner is in use since 1925.
