Coat of Arms

Shield Azure mantled Or, in base a lion's head Or tongued Gules surrounded by three billets Or ordered 1:2; above at dexter an embattled tower Azure masoned sable; above at sinister an eradicated tree Azure.
Meaning:
The tower is representing Schloßborn village and its medieval castle. The tree is taken from the seal of Glashütten proper (there had been three trees in the former arms). The lion's head is that one of the lion of Nassau and representing Oberems, a village that, different from the others being dominions of the Archbishopric of Mainz, had been a possession of the Princes of Nassau-Usingen since medieval times.
The arms were approved on 30 April 1974 by Minister of Interior of Hesse and designed by Heinz Ritt
