Weinstadt Coat of Arms

In the centre of the black shield is a golden (= yellow) bunch of grapes. The shield has a golden (= yellow) chief, superimposed by a black attire.
Meaning:
On 1 January 1975 the municipalities of Beutelsbach, Endersbach, Großheppach and Schnait merged and formed the municipality of Weinstadt, which gained the title of a city on 9 March 1976. Before on 1 January 1973 the municipality of Strümpfelbach had been incorporated into Endersbach. The bunch of grapes is a canting element, alluding to the fact that viticulture had been the main business line in all the five former municipalities. The attire and the colours of Württemberg - yellow and black - are symbolizing, that the area belonged to Old-Württemberg, which had one of its focal points in Beutelsbach. Furthermore the attire had been already an element within the arms of three of the former municipalities.

Banner and coat of arms were approved on 3 May 1976 by the county administration, published in GABl 311/1977. The banner officially should be yellow - black.
