HADAG Jacks - Introduction

The ships of the various branch lines of  HADAG had jacks of ratio estimated 2:3. I have interpreted the source, as if the single ferries of the main line had different jacks. All vessels of every branch line either had the same jack or there was only one ship per branch line.

This is very interesting! I only knew the one with the key described above. German monthly 'Merian' - somewhat like 'National Geographic' - dedicated its Sept. 1972 issue to Hamburg, and the ferry ALSTERDORF is shown on pp.36-37 flying (West) Germany, HADAG (old), a red-and-white unknown flag (it does not unfold nicely), Hamburg, and the special jack. The boat is moored at Blankenese on the right bank of the Elbe.
