Presentation of Les Hauts-d'Anjou

The municipality of Les Hauts-d'Anjou (8,762 inhabitants in 2018; 14,336 ha) was established on 15 December 2016 by the former municipalities of the former municipalities of Brissarthe, Contigné, Cherré, Champigné, Marigné, SÅ“urdres and Querré. The former municipality of Châteauneuf-sur-Sarthe was merged into Les Hauts-d'Anjou in 2019.
