The symbols of Zdenci are described in the Municipality Statutes Statut Opčine Zdenci (text), adopted in 16 June 2009 by the Municipality Assembly and published in the Municipality official gazette Službeni glasnik Opčine Zdenci.
The symbols were designed by the Heraldic Art d.o.o. company, from Rijeka, and approved by the Ministry of Administration / Central State Office for Administration before 2006.
The flag of Zdenci is in proportions 1:2, white with the coat of arms, bordered yellow, in the middle.

The coat of arms is "Azure six springs argent".
Article 5 of the Statutes claims that this is the historical coat of arms of Zdenci, although I am quite convinced that this is not true. The coat of arms is described as a "toponomastic figure" of Zdenci, zdenci meaning "wells", "sources" (plural form). The number of sprinkles is determined to six.
