Here is photo 156 from
Yahoo anti-war slideshow . It's a flag of some trade union,
perhaps a local delegation. This image is cropped and enlarged,
showing details of the logo, drawn in yellow and green, including
what's almost certainly a hammer. This and the CGIL inscription
now visible in the upper fly identifies the flag as a trade union
flag, without a doubt. It might be the flag of a local delegation
of the FIOM (Metallurgical Employees and Workers Federation). The
logo surely looks suspiciously similar.
In the cropping, a "pace" flag is also partially
visible.
