The flag of the town of Kawanishi is maroon with mark.

The town emblem was adopted on Jul 1st 1959 but there is no flag law. The maroon flag has a white town emblem in the center. The town emblem is stylized kanji 川西 Kawanishi. The circle represents a peaceful reconciliation and the town people’s heart.
