According to Nehmé 1995, "Consisted of two vertical and equal bands, one yellow and one blue."

The name of the original image in the Lebanese Parliamentary Elections 2000 website ("yellow_blue.gif") and the actual description make me wonder whether the image illustrates the Arabic obverse – with the hoist on the right-hand side.
