Grajewo County (Polish: powiat grajewski) is a unit of territorial administration and local government (powiat) in Podlaskie Voivodeship, north-eastern Poland. It came into being on January 1, 1999, as a result of the Polish local government reforms passed in 1998. Its administrative seat and largest town is Grajewo, which lies 76 kilometres (47 mi) north-west of the regional capital Białystok.
Grajewo County CoA shows in the cloth a golden elk with black eyes. Over the elk in the upper left corner a eightpointed golden star. Grajewo County Flag is a rectangular red cloth an aspect ratio of 5:8, in canton placed the emblem of the Grajewo County, elka and star. The flag and CoA were adopted May 28, 2013.References:
It was preceded by two projects, which had a semi-official status. The Grajewo County Council had the projects officially accepted, but the Polish Heraldic Commission rejected these projects.Jens Pattke, 1 May 2014
On 12 April 2008 the project about county symbols was published. The new county flag is divided horizontally. The upper strip is yellow, the lower strip is green. In the upper canton is the county Coat of Arms.
