Presentation of Solhan

The municipality of Solhan (33,133 inhabitants in 2016, 16,634 in the town of Solhan) is located 50 km south-east of Bingöl.

Flag of Solhan

The flag of Solhan (photo) is white with the municipality's emblem in the middle. "Belediyesi" means "Municipality".
The emblem represents Lake Aksakal and its floating islands (photo), located near the village of Hazerşah. There are three completely separate islands on the lake and each of them is motile.
