Flag used at sesquicentennial celebrations

[Former Flag of Hamilton County, Iowa] image by António Martins-Tuválkin, 31 December 2010

Back in 2002, the Iowa State Association of Counties website hosted an account of each county's history, signed by its County Recorder, and illustrated with a black and white flag image. It is not clear whether these flag images were provided by the county administration or not.

Archived copies of the pages about Hamilton Taylor are still at web.archive.org/web/*/www.iowacounties.org/County+Info/History+Pages/hamilton.htm and web.archive.org/web/*/www.iowacounties.org/County+Info/Flags/Hamilton.htm. It is a ~3:5 white (?) flag with a large corn cob on it, slanted from lower hoist to upper fly, with the lettering "Hamilton" above, offset hoistwards, and "County" below, offset flywards. (Overall on the corn cob there is something I cannot tell what it is.)

According to the booklet [u9s03b] (page 5, 3rd and 4th photos of the 3rd column), it is indeed white, the lettering being black as well as the "holding lines" and details of the emblem, which includes colored areas: The corn leaves are green, but the grains are not yellow, but white. That item is a barn, in typical North American style, red with a two-side roof, each at an angle, and a tower silo. This roof is shown in white, possibly for contrast or to illustrate reflection.
