The flag of the City of Kennett, Missouri, consists of three horizontal stripes - blue-yellow-blue, in ratio 1:2:1. On the top blue stripe there are words in black "CITY OF KENNETT MISSOURI", on the yellow stripe are given full color seal without words on the circle and a red Indian head, and on the bottom blue stripe are words in black "DUNKLIN COUNTY".

Official Description & Meaning: Indian Head and City seal. Originally the site of an Indian village named after Chief Chilletecaux, Kennett was incorporated as a city in 1873 and named for Luther M. Kennett, a former St. Louis Mayor. Kennett is the county seat for Dunklin County.
