Description

The University of West Florida flag was developed by the 2003 Leadership Enhancement and Development Program (LEAD) class which "initiated a project to help generate community pride in the university. A flag was developed to publicly display the university’s colors and symbols. The design selected by the class was approved by the president and the Board of Trustees in December 2003. The new UWF flag was unveiled during Festival on the Green 2004."
